I am a fifty something mother of three.
I am also a teacher, a healer, a multi-media artist,
a collector of stories, and an intuitive dabbler in web design and magick.

I am an avid child craft educator.
As such, I teach the concept of Earth Service.
In practice this is the celebration and stewardship of
the Earth through conservation; the use of recycled materials, preservation and reclaiming, and nature education through a mixed-media approach.

My "productions" seek to explore the same concepts.
As a teacher, I have long been fascinated by the concept that a child's play is fundamental to development.
The exploration of the nature of things,
through imaginative play, gives a child a stable foundation
to grow on.

Providing a safe and educational experience is the mission of Awake the Child.
We hope our toys and tools will be a magickal platform
to imagination.
